About the role

Administers care to patients and performs various patient care activities and tasks in collaboration with and under the direction of emergency medicine providers and nurses. Collaborates with other staff members in the performance of duties.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required
  • Successful completion of a state approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), or Paramedic program or course, or graduate of Medical Assistant Program (Clinical Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant) required
  • 1+ years experience in Pediatrics, Emergency Department or Urgent Care preferred
