About the role

This is a per diem position in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the healthcare team in organizing and implementing basic department activities like stocking, results retrieval, and patient tracking.
  • Under the guidance of the physician/advanced practice practitioner, perform patient care tasks including vital signs, pulse oximetry, EKG, phlebotomy, and other simple procedures.

Requirements

  • EMT or CNA training required.
  • Current EMT-Basic license or CNA certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of the Emergency Department Technician role.

Pay

The base range is $20.68 to $25.10 per hour. Part-time positions are compensated on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
