Work Schedule

  • Part-time, 90% FTE
  • Day/evening shifts
  • Hours: 7:00am – 11:30pm
  • Weekend rotation required
  • Hours may vary based on operational needs

Pay

  • Additional components of compensation:
    • Evening and night shift differential
    • Weekend differential

Qualifications

  • Completion of EMT-Basic
  • Preferred completion of AEMT or Paramedic program
  • 1 year of experience as an ED Technician
  • Required EMT – Basic license or National Registry of EMT
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Preferred ACLS and PALS certification
  • Preferred National Registry or Wisconsin Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic license

About the Role

Be part of something remarkable. Work with providers and nurses in the Emergency Department to ensure patients receive remarkable care and are comfortable throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in the performance of emergency technician procedures
  • Provide educational learnings to emergency department technicians
  • Respond to pages/codes accordingly and assist as directed
  • Provide casting and splint duties as needed
  • Work independently within the scope of practice to achieve clinical outcomes
