Responsibilities
- Stocking supplies
- Cleaning stretchers, rooms and equipment
- Foley catheter placement
- Placing patients on the monitor
- Obtaining vital signs
- Transporting patients
- Splinting
- Attending the physician
- Suture set up
- Instrument cleaning
- Tray wrapping
- Assisting with exams
- Performing drug screens
- Breath alcohol tests
- Glucose screening
Qualifications
- Medical experience required
- Experience preferred, but customer service and a positive attitude are equally important
Work expectations
- Seek direction and report directly to the charge nurse on your shift
- Punctuality, dependability and excellent work ethic are the three primary considerations for employment
