Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medications.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team, ensuring clear communication across the continuum.
• Affirms physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN license.
• PREFERRED: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
