Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) collaborates with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, focusing on human responses to health problems.
Responsibilities
- Conducting multi-system assessments
- Developing individualized care and discharge plans
- Executing protocols
- Documenting accurately
- Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach
- Cooking activities with other departments
- Delegating tasks appropriately
- Responding effectively in emergency situations
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum nine months RN experience, including one year in Emergency Department or completion of a related internship
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license
- Required certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, NIH Stroke Scale, BLS, and ACLS
- Additional skills: computer proficiency and emergency nursing expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- Certifications such as CEN and TNCC, with skills in interpreting cardiac dysrhythmias and effective communication
