About the role

At EVCC, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Web Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating user-friendly, accessible websites.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom websites for veterinary practices
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and requirements
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across devices
• Utilize SEO best practices to improve website visibility
• Ensure all websites meet accessibility standards
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular
• Understanding of server-side scripting languages (PHP, Python, etc.)
• Experience with database management and SQL
