eMerge Senior Attorney

Responsibilities
- The primary guardian of attorney-client privilege and work product protections throughout the document review process, ensuring that privileged material is never produced and that review activities adhere to eMerge's established privilege protocols.
- Designing and implementing privilege sweeps and screens to identify and protect privilege material.
- Consulting with case teams on privilege questions, issues, and strategy throughout the review lifecycle.
- Ensuring all review workflows follow standard eMerge privilege protocols and procedures.
- Drafting and finalizing privilege logs upon completion of review.
- Escalating complex privilege determinations to senior eMerge attorneys as appropriate.
- Showcasing strong technical proficiency, including direct experience overseeing and conducting quality control of AI-assisted privilege reviews, including familiarity with the tools and methodologies that support these workflows.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency with preservation, filtering, and export capabilities of corporate messaging, collaboration, and productivity solutions, including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Expertise with Relativity is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing in the state that they practice.
Skills
- Technical proficiency, especially in AI-assisted privilege reviews.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000 dependent on relevant years of experience.
