About the role
TÜV SÜD is seeking a skilled EMC Test Engineer to join our team. This position offers opportunities for advancement and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform EMC tests in accordance with national and international standards and procedures.
- Document test results in standardized reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant test equipment and operational procedures.
- Participate in internal training and technical reviews.
- Operate and maintain laboratory test and measurement equipment.
- Assist with internal and external verifications and calibrations.
- Ensure all test documentation is accurate and timely.
- Follow standard lab operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Support compliance efforts and promote a positive work environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and internal information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
- High-level knowledge of wireless/RF communication systems and protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, 4G, millimeter wave).
- High-level mechanical/automotive aptitude preferred.
- First, second, or third shift opportunities available.
- Availability to work extended hours/shifts/days as requested or needed.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to plan, organize, and pay attention to detail.
- Reliable judgment, adaptability, and a positive outlook.
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift as needed.
- Ability or willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Additional Information
The anticipated hourly base pay range for this full-time position is $75,000-$90,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.
