Embroidery Production Lead

About the role

The Embroidery Production Lead oversees daily embroidery production operations in a high-volume apparel manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily embroidery production activities.
• Cook up production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Assign work to embroidery machine operators and monitor workflow.
• Maintain efficient utilization of embroidery machines, materials, and labor.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Troubleshoot embroidery machine issues, design problems, and production challenges.
• Maintain production standards, efficiency, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with production, fulfillment, and other departments to ensure timely order completion.
• Train, mentor, and support embroidery operators and new team members.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and production documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in production planning and production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with quality control processes and maintaining production standards.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop production team members.
• Previous experience in embroidery or apparel manufacturing, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial embroidery machines, thread types, hooping techniques, and embroidery production processes.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
• Commitment to following workplace safety procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Leadership experience in a high-volume embroidery or apparel production facility.
• Experience optimizing production efficiency and improving workflow processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to embroidery equipment and production operations.
