About the role
As an Embedded Software Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will join a global team focused on the following areas of expertise:
- Embedded Low Level Development
- Embedded Applications Development

- Embedded Verification & Validation
Within our Embedded Software Engineering Technology Center, responsibilities include:
- Low-level development for embedded products, such as drivers and firmware
- Application development for embedded products, such as infotainment systems
- Software development for safety-critical systems or systems requiring regulatory compliance
- Verification and validation activities for embedded products, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electronics, or related fields
- Prior experience in embedded software application fields
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a focus on continuous improvement of design solutions
- Fluency in technical English

Pay
- 3rd Level: Annual Gross Salary (RAL) from €27,746 to €30,825
- 2nd Level: Annual Gross Salary (RAL) from €31,270 to €40,150
- 1st Level: Annual Gross Salary (RAL) from €35,057 to €57,475
The salary range is defined in accordance with European and national transparency regulations. The minimum value corresponds to the minimum economic treatment provided by the applicable collective labor agreement for the indicated level and role and does not necessarily represent the entry salary. The actual salary offered will be determined based on skills, professional experience, seniority level, and specific profile characteristics, in line with the company’s remuneration and classification system and respecting objective and gender-neutral criteria.
Schedule
Hybrid or on-site work at offices in Rome, Milan, Turin, Florence, La Spezia, Bologna, Modena, Padua, and Naples.
