Basic Qualifications

• Must currently hold an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
• Other related degree field with significant software development experience
• Experience with embedded development using a real-time operating system
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical embedded software systems/programs
• Process Improvement and Affordability experience
• Software engineering Management or Software engineering Team Lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring

What You Will Be Doing

• Management and development of the team
• Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions
• Planning, conducting, and coordinating software development activities
• Coinciding employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development
• Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program
