Embedded Software Engineer for Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions

About the role

As a software engineer for the Space, Cyber, and Intelligence (SC&I) line of business, you’ll be a member a cross functional team responsible for developing software and product features for the growing Tactical Access Cross Domain Solutions product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and product features for the Tactical Access Cross Domain Solutions product portfolio
• Apply software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
• Provide technical leadership
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
• U.S. citizenship is required

• Embedded Development (WindRiver Linux)
• Software Engineering
• Software Test
• WindRiver Linux (or relevant RTOS experience such as VxWorks, GHS, FreeRTOS)
• Linux application development experience
• Linux administration experience
• Experience with SELinux
• Experience with Git or GitLab
• Proficient in C/C++
• Experience with BASH, sed, awk
• Agile experience preferred
• Familiar with agile and scrums
• Team oriented, personally driven, fast-paced environment
• Information assurance, secure software development strategies and concepts (bonus)
• Python experience (bonus)
• Rust experience (bonus)
• Linux Kernel/Driver experience (bonus)
• Experience customizing/creating Linux distributions (bonus)
• Experience with GTK/GTKmm (bonus)

Pay

Target salary range: USD $118,570.00/Yr. - USD $126,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.

Schedule

This position is fully on-site in Taunton, MA.
