Key Exciting Responsibilities
- Spearhead modular software design from requirement interpretation to final implementation, ensuring high-performance GPS signal recovery and timing.
- Architect time-critical solutions by interacting closely with hardware and firmware teams to widen our advantage in leading-edge receiver technology.
- Own the certification lifecycle by following structured processes to document, verify, and achieve DO-178 certification for mission-critical products.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Eligibility for Future Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret level clearance. U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite for this process.
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Embedded & Real-Time Systems: Proven expertise in designing software for minimal architectures, real-time/time-critical applications (e.g., embedded systems, high-speed servers), and a strong understanding of digital hardware and microprocessor architecture.
- Software Development: Proficient in C and Python 3.x, with a deep understanding of modular, structured software design concepts.
- Experienced in multi-threaded operating systems and advanced multi-threaded software design.
- Methodologies & Tools: Well-versed in Configuration Management (CM) tools/processes and diverse development lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative Spiral).
- Strong verbal, written, and technical documentation skills.
- Bonus Points For: Experience with GPS or Communication Systems and object-oriented programming in C++.

Pay & Benefits
- Hiring Range: $119,500.00–$164,400.00
- Compensation Type: Salary
