Embedded Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop avionics software solutions in line with company and industry standards
• Design scalable software architectures that evolve with product needs
• Contribute to all phases of development: design, coding, and documentation
• Solve complex technical challenges across new and existing systems
• Participate in code reviews and peer evaluations to ensure quality

What You Bring (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Willingness to travel up to 15%

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with flight management, autopilot, navigation, or other avionics systems
• Familiarity with software configuration and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
• Knowledge of DO-178C certification processes
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Experience with communication protocols (e.g., RS-232, RS-422, ARINC 429, CAN bus, IEEE-1394)
• Background in avionics software development

Pay and Benefits

Summary pay range: Level II: $85,000 - $107,000; Level III: $100,000 - $135,000; Level IV: $125,000 - $165,000
