Embedded Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and sustain secure embedded processing applications at the hardware/software interface. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining C++ code for secure embedded systems, interfacing directly with hardware components and communication protocols such as PCIe, SPI, and I2C.

Responsibilities

• Create and configure embedded Linux images.
• Support system integration and debugging in lab environments.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototype and production systems.
• Ensure compliance with security and quality standards.

Requirements

• STEM degree (Bachelor’s with 2 years’ experience or Master’s with no experience).
• Proficiency in C++.
• Knowledge of hardware protocols (e.g., PCIe, SPI, I2C).
• Experience with embedded Linux.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• US citizenship.
• Full-time onsite role within a classified environment.
