Responsibilities
- Develop and own server‑related firmware for a leading cloud platform.
- Work on embedded software development, including C/C++ for server baseboard management controllers (BMC).
- Engage in scripting language development and Linux driver development.
- Contribute to building, validating, and supporting firmware across diverse technology domains.
- Solve complex problems at the intersection of software, hardware, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing and architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle: coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Skills
- Embedded development using C/C++.
- Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles.
- Scripting language development.
- Linux driver development.
Pay
Competitive annual salary ($143,700 – $194,400 USD) plus potential for sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
