Embedded Software Engineer
About the Role
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact on national defense? You understand your client’s environment and how to develop the right systems to support their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into reliable embedded software makes you a key contributor to delivering client-focused engineering solutions.
As an experienced embedded systems and software engineer, you will help solve complex challenges that drive the development of next-generation satellite systems. You will take on a hands-on role in designing, implementing, and testing embedded software architectures that interface directly with FPGA-based processing pipelines and spacecraft subsystems. You’ll enhance these systems through advanced technology solutions that meet demanding space and mission requirements. You’ll apply your expertise while providing guidance to a cross-domain hardware–software team focused on digital design, verification, and system integration.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with FPGA engineers, RF engineers, and systems engineers to ensure seamless interaction between embedded software components and onboard electronics. Through this work, you will help translate system-level requirements into robust, real-time software implementations that enable reliable on-orbit performance.
