Embedded S/W Engineer

Position requires the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. US Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance are required.

About the role

Seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement embedded C/C++ software for missile programs. This role includes performing analysis of requirements, developing architecture and design, implementation, and integration with a goal of supporting flight testing of the Missile subsystem.

Schedule

• Full-time, on-site at Grand Prairie, TX (MFC location)
• Monday–Thursday, 4/10 schedule (10 hours/day, 1st shift)

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for embedded software
• Develop architecture and design for missile subsystem software
• Implement and integrate embedded C/C++ software
• Support flight testing of the Missile subsystem
• Work with real-time embedded systems and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) environments
• Utilize simulation systems for development and testing

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in C/C++ (C++ version 11 or higher)
• Proficiency in Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environments
• Previous experience with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) and real-time embedded systems
• Experience with simulation systems
