Email Marketing Specialist - Corporate (Las Vegas)
About the role
The Email/Mobile Marketing Specialist supports Caesars Entertainment’s fast-paced team in driving online room revenue and customer engagement through email newsletters, push notifications, rich messages, trigger communications, lifecycle marketing, and promotional campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Execute email and mobile communications.
- Coordinate activities of design, content, and development teams to meet multiple, interdependent deadlines.
- Provide suggestions and improvements to your own work and that of other team members.
- Develop and demonstrate subject-matter expertise in email and mobile marketing.
- Execute complex emails, mobile messages, and campaigns.
- Establish relationships with key property contacts.
- Build and rigorously test each email, verifying copy, layout, links, dynamic content, and spam risks.
- Perform flawless quality assurance (QA).
- Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field.
- Digital marketing experience with understanding of email best practices for design, subject lines, copy, testing, and calls to action.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate comfortably with all levels of the organization.
- Experience with ExactTarget, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Airship, or other marketing execution software.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Dreamweaver).
- Strong email-related HTML experience; web design experience preferred.
- Demonstrates up-to-date knowledge in email best practices for design, subject lines, layout, copy, and calls to action.
- Ability to manipulate HTML and create emails without the use of a WYSIWYG within the email service provider tool.
- Proficiency in AMPscript or other scripting language to create variations within a single email.
- Ability to write and execute SOQL queries and/or understand database querying.
- Superior communication, writing, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- Evidence of learning quickly and building on existing business foundations.
- Excellent time and project management with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently with minimal direction, and contribute as part of a team.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively while handling multiple high-priority projects and shifting priorities.
- Passion for email marketing, drive to achieve results, detail orientation, self-motivation, and enthusiasm for responsibilities.
- Strong working knowledge of the internet and familiarity with content management tools, new media, and/or product development.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, different streams of work in a challenging, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
