Position Summary
The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for optimizing how patients and practitioners engage with IFM by managing end-to-end email campaigns, databases, and newsletters. This role leverages content-driven messaging and intuitive targeting to nurture audiences and drive engagement. Additionally, the specialist ensures data integrity, platform integrations, and strict compliance with evolving privacy regulations, mailbox provider requirements, and analytics frameworks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create email templates for single sends, automated emails and workflow processes for courses, membership, certification, partnerships, and other IFM programs using Hubspot; implement HTML code when needed.
- Track, analyze and report on the email channel’s performance.
- Test and ensure email readability and compatibility on a variety of devices, mobile and desktop, and email clients (Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
- Maintain authentication protocols including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and domain alignment across email programs.
- Maintain and update the email communication calendar, collaborate with other departments to plan.
- Ensure compliance with global and domestic email and data privacy regulations, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and emerging state-level privacy laws, in partnership with Legal and IT as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule content promotion and build layouts, including graphics, for weekly newsletter across target audiences.
- Apply dynamic content and personalization logic within newsletters based on subscriber attributes and behaviors.
- Ensure accurate email tracking and attribution across analytics platforms, including GA4, by managing UTM standards, event tracking, and data handoff requirements.
- Monitor discrepancies between email platform metrics and downstream analytics and recommend corrective actions.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 3+ years’ experience with email marketing, including deliverability management, compliance standards, marketing automation, email template styling and coding, HTML, lead nurturing, and web analytics.
- Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization.
- Familiarity with GA4 event-based measurement and email attribution best practices.
- Ability to translate evolving platform and technical requirements into operational email practices.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Data, IT, and Legal stakeholders.
- Potential for producing or conceptualizing elements of innovation, utility, and imagination towards project improvement, insight, or reflection.
