Email Marketing Specialist - $34-$38/hr - Alexandria, VA

About the role

Support the execution of omnichannel marketing campaigns for conferences and events.

• Manage email marketing campaigns in Marketo, including segmentation, QA, reporting, and optimization
• Assist with copywriting, campaign content, and brand-aligned communications
• Pull and analyze campaign performance data using Marketo, Google Analytics, and other reporting tools
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful campaign execution
• Manage project workflows, JIRA requests, SMS campaigns, and stakeholder communications
• Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve results

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of progressive marketing experience
• Strong email marketing and campaign execution experience
• Proficiency with Marketo, Google Analytics, and marketing reporting tools
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Pay

$34–$38/hr

Schedule

• 3-month contract (target start date: 8/19)
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Alexandria, VA
• Core hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
