Email Designer

About the role

Herrschners is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Email Designer to develop visually engaging email campaigns that inspire customers and support sales. Working closely with our Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams, you'll bring products, seasonal collections, and promotions to life through thoughtful, branded email design.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design, typography, visual hierarchy, and digital layout. They understand how to design clear, compelling email experiences for desktop and mobile while balancing creativity, readability, and promotional goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually compelling emails.
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to execute promotional, lifecycle, and automated email campaigns.
• Create emails that align with brand standards while meeting campaign objectives.
• Optimize email layouts based on campaign performance, A/B testing, and best practices.
• Maintain and update email templates and design assets.
• Create website and social media graphics as needed.
• Stay current on email marketing trends, accessibility standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience designing marketing emails.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, such as Listrak.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email development.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability and accessibility.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with e-commerce or retail marketing.
• Knowledge of email accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with social media and web design.
