About the role

The Marketing Manager is ELV's marketing and communications lead, reporting directly to the Executive Director. You'll develop and execute the strategies that support ELV's mission to strengthen the child care ecosystem through technology and operational solutions — leading brand, content, campaigns, and communications to accelerate our national expansion across 20+ states. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution and works closely with partnership, product, and client success teams to drive growth and mission impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute ELV's comprehensive marketing and communications strategy in partnership with the Executive Director, aligned to national expansion goals and measurable KPIs
  • Own brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity, establishing ELV as a thought leader in early childhood education technology and the child care shared services model
  • Lead content strategy across web, social, email, and thought leadership — writing and editing case studies, white papers, newsletters, press releases, and executive communications
  • Create pitch decks, impact reports, and proposal materials for high-priority partnership and state-contract opportunities
  • Manage event marketing for conferences, webinars, and leadership summits
  • Build and maintain media, industry, and strategic-partner relationships to amplify ELV's visibility and credibility
  • Manage marketing operations — budget, vendors, and automation/CMS/analytics tools — coordinating across product, client success, business development, and child care partnership teams
