The work model

Your role is onsite in Mebane, NC.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Influence and consult with management within the local ABB unit to innovate the design and development of your functional area to improve the organization’s overall performance.
  • Ensure appropriate internal and external communication relevant to quality management system.
  • Implement short, medium- and long-term strategy, activities, and planning to develop the quality management system, based on identified risks and opportunities, in collaboration and agreement with the local management team.
  • Establish a closed-loop quality cycle from product development to customer experience feedback to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering; Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 procedures; preferable
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with strong quantitative and analytical skills; Task and detail oriented; manage time and drives activities under pressure.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical prints
  • Good oral and written communication in English; proven presentation and facilitation skills
  • Six Sigma Green Belt trained (certification preferred)
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Minitab
