Elizabeth A. Mittendorf to Lead ASCO as 2026–2027 President

About the role

Qualifications

Dr. Mittendorf’s qualifications include:

• Absorbed medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
• Residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Surgical Oncology.
• PhD in Immunology from the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston.
• Board certification in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
