Elite Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Some travel required (20%-80%)
• Driving Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain privileges to drive a company vehicle
• Forms: Driver Disclosure and Release, Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement, FMCSA Certificate of Awareness, Driver Certificate of Violations, Driver Statement of On Duty Hours, Road Test

Education & Experience Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent
• PREFERRED: Technical military background, Tech Cert, Degree or industry specific license(s)
• Experience Requirements: Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, Background checks, etc.), Clean driving record, Work experience preferred within industrial water filtration systems, 5 to 7 years of technical work experience within industrial water filtration systems

Skill Requirements

• Read and interpret P&ID piping schematics for equipment layout and material ordering
• PVC / CPVC Schedule 80 pipe installation, HDPE fusion welding experience with data-logging knowledge
• Plot layout design for equipment placement
• Planning, Installation and Commissioning of RO / DI / UF / DNF / DAF and Multimedia Filtration units for short term operating contracts
• Team lead who works without direct supervision and provides coaching/training to junior-level technicians
• Technically sound on pipe installations
• Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
• Must have customer service experience
• Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
• Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
• Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems often in novel and unexpected ways
