About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types including private, instrument, commercial, sport, and multi-engine ratings. Offer both ground and flight instruction tailored to meet individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach students the fundamentals of aviation, including theory, navigation, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare students for FAA certification exams, covering PPL, IR, CPL, and other relevant certifications.
- Offer personalized flight reviews and checkrides to ensure students are fully prepared for their next step in aviation.
- Ensure all training sessions adhere to FAA regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- A valid pilot's license and current medical certificate.
- Experience teaching aviation subjects, preferably in a classroom and flight environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry best practices.
- Passion for aviation and a commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in aviation education or related field.
- Completion of a recognized aviation training program.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
