Elevator Service Technician - Orlando

About the role

Delaware Elevator of Florida is seeking experienced Elevator Service Technicians to join our team in the Orlando/Daytona area. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service by maintaining, repairing, and modernizing elevators in both private and public infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, adjust, and test elevators and related equipment using mechanical and electrical principles.
• Monitor and evaluate elevator performance, identifying and addressing issues promptly to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Participate in scheduled rotations for after-hours emergencies, entrapments, and repairs.
• Manage service tasks efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Perform all physical requirements of the role independently and effectively.
• Be available to travel as necessary, including occasional overnight stays.
• Collaborate with repair teams on projects involving heavy lifting or specialized requirements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an independent Elevator Mechanic/Technician.
• Valid Elevator Mechanic Credentials: State elevator licenses considered with additional experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to meet fit-for-duty requirements, including physical tasks.
• Dedication to safety, precision, and superior customer service.
