About the role

Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) position available at Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the care team model of 32 Anesthesiologists and 58 Allied Health professionals.
  • Treatment of a broad case mix including Neuro, Vascular, General, OB/Gen, Ortho, IR, GI, Cardiac, Interventional Cardiac and Pediatrics.
  • Manage annual case volume of 40K, covering main hospital, 24 ORs, ASCs and off-site locations.
  • Enjoy flexible scheduling options such as 8’s, 10’s and 12’s, with no call.
  • Benefit from a robust orientation/onboarding program for new hires, welcoming new graduates.
  • Start date bonus of $75K and immediate eligibility for benefits, including professional liability insurance paid by the company.

Requirements

Must have completed a certified anesthesia assistant program and be licensed to practice in Florida.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with anesthesia administration and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures.
