About the role

Envision is seeking a Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) to join their team at the New Tampa Surgery Center in Wesley Chapel, Florida. The center is a heavy orthopedic facility with 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room.

Responsibilities

• Supporting anesthesia providers during surgical procedures
• Assisting with preoperative and postoperative care
• Managing anesthesia equipment and supplies
• Collaborating with other members of the surgical team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Current certification as a Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA)
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery setting preferred
• Knowledge of anesthesia principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with medical terminology and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
