Elementary Visual Arts Teacher (K-5), 2026/2027 School Year - PACT Charter School, Ramsey, MN
About the role
PACT Charter School is seeking a licensed K-12 Visual Arts teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. This position offers daily common planning time for collaboration and Professional Learning Communities (PLC).
Responsibilities
- Teach visual arts curriculum aligned with state standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student learning outcomes.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and assessments.
- Engage students in creative projects and critiques.
- Support students' social-emotional growth and character development.
Requirements
- Licensed in K-12 Visual Arts.
- Highly-Qualified teacher mentor at each grade level.
Qualifications
- Strong background in visual arts education.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Skills
- Excellent teaching abilities.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
- Ability to inspire creativity and innovation in students.

Pay
Salary will be commensurate upon experience, ranging from a minimum of $41,000 to a maximum of $90,568 based on step/lane.
Schedule
The schedule is 1.0 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent).

- The PACT Secondary campus is located at 7729 161st Ave NW, between Central Park in Ramsey and the St. Katharine Drexel Church property.
