About the role
The position will be a self-contained elementary grade classroom. A bachelor’s degree is required; PA state certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects including reading, math, science, and social studies.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall educational goals of the school.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
- PA state certification in education.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a criminal history check.
- Pass a fingerprint check.
- Pass a drug screening.
