ELEMENTARY TEACHER, ST. JEROME SCHOOL, PHILADELPHIA NORTH

About the role

The position will be a self-contained elementary grade classroom. A bachelor’s degree is required; PA state certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach core subjects including reading, math, science, and social studies.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall educational goals of the school.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• PA state certification in education.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a criminal history check.
• Pass a fingerprint check.
• Pass a drug screening.
