About the role

Sunshine State Academy seeks to find an elite teacher to join our team of amazing educators. The ideal candidate must have a passion for teaching and will be responsible for preparing and implementing interactive, creative, and engaging hands-on instruction in alignment with the Florida Standards.

Responsibilities

• You must have the ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust.

Requirements

• Florida Teacher Certification OR Temporary Florida Teacher Certification with passing scores on all exams within one year of employment
• One-year prior related experience in a classroom instructional setting
• Knowledge, experience, and demonstrated actions of best practices in curriculum, instruction, and school policies and philosophies
• Ability to communicate with persons with varied cultural and educational backgrounds, communicate in oral and written form
• Code of Conduct and Ethics Agreement signatory upon employment
• Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills
• Background Screening and Fingerprinting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the field of Education (Degree may be in another field if you hold a current Florida Teaching Certificate)

• Experience and qualifications in teaching children through differentiation, adaptation, and compassion

$48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
