Elementary Teacher Assistant- Special Education (ECSE)

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide support to special education teachers in the classroom setting. Duties include assisting with lesson planning, providing individualized instruction, managing student behavior, and collaborating with other special education staff.

• Assist with lesson planning and preparation
• Provide individualized instruction to students with special needs
• Manage student behavior and implement behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with special education teachers and related service providers
• Support classroom management and organization
• Participate in professional development activities

Qualifications

A high school diploma is required, along with a current Texas teaching certificate in ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education). Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
