Elementary Teacher (60% FTE, Temporary Contract)

This is a temporary grant-funded position for the 26-27 school year. The work year and salary will be prorated to 60%. The duties for these positions include, but are not limited to, the following: Work with students reading below grade level.Provide small-group, targeted reading intervention during WIN/intervention time.Use Acadience/DIBELS and classroom data to identify specific skill gaps and determine intervention groups.Provide explicit, systematic instruction using our adopted/research-based literacy practices and UFLI where appropriate.Progress monitor students regularly and maintain clear data on student growth.Collaborate with classroom teachers and the MTSS team to communicate student progress and next steps.Help identify students who may need additional intervention or an SST, providing documentation of interventions and progress-monitoring data.Support 100% completion of literacy progress monitoring so we have current data on student growth.Maintain intervention records so we can clearly document the intervention provided, frequency, student response, and next steps.Teacher collaboration: Brief check-ins with teachers to ensure intervention skills are connected to what students are learning in the classroom.Intervention resources: Help organize intervention materials and create a consistent system for reading groups across grade levels.Other duties as assigned.
