Responsibilities

• Work together as a team to end the predictive value of race, class, gender, and special capacities for students' success.
• Implement an Anti-Racism policy to build school communities that share the responsibility to recognize and end racism, eliminate inequitable practices, and support the unique gifts and talents of every child.
• Engage with the Culturally Responsive Teaching model in support of the Equity Mission Statement.

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement in Elementary Education.

Qualifications

• Self-reflective, collaborative, knowledgeable in content area and instructional practices, and committed to continual growth and improvement.
• Passionate about closing equity and achievement gaps.
• Prepared to engage with the Culturally Responsive Teaching model in support of the Equity Mission Statement.
