Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and standards-based instruction
- Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect student needs and curriculum goals
- Establish a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Assess and track student performance; provide feedback and intervention as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
- Participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives
- Support school events, field trips, and community-building activities
- Complete administrative responsibilities including attendance, grading, and lesson planning
- Adhere to all school, district, and network policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey CE, CEAS, or Standard teaching certification, Special Education endorsement
- Must pass a criminal history background check
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience

- Staff are evaluated under the Achieve NJ Teacher Evaluation system, which includes:
- Teacher Practice
- Student Achievement
- Student Growth Percentiles (when applicable)
- Supervision [For classroom-based roles]: Supervision of students, paraprofessionals, and volunteers
