Join Prep Academy Tutors, a dynamic private in-home tutoring company dedicated to providing top-tier educational support across all subjects for students of all ages. We are looking for elementary school teachers and tutors who are energetic, enthusiastic, and driven educators passionate about shaping young minds and helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
• Develop customized learning plans that help students understand the material, not just memorize it.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to support students who need extra help or a challenge.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them informed about progress, struggles, and successes.

Requirements

We’re seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Hold a current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
• Are a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• Are a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or an approved educator preparation program.
• Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
• Are knowledgeable about Orton Gillingham.
• Are currently located in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, or Leesville.
