Elementary School Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking an Elementary Teacher who has a passion for learning and is dedicated to leading and supporting our 2nd grade classroom in the ongoing development of students for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities

• Accept the philosophy of Cadence Education and work as part of the teaching team to encourage a positive learning environment for all students.
• Develop lesson plans that provide everything needed to build a strong foundation for students.
• Provide social interaction and developmentally appropriate skill-based activities to help students thrive.
• Encourage and model positive social behavior and expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and academically appropriate environment that provides a space for students to excel.
• Adhere to enhanced safety measures.
• Communicate regularly with parents.
• Collaborate with other passionate teachers and leaders to implement an engaging, challenging, and developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Education, Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree preferred.
• Florida DCF 45-hour course completion.
• High level of flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
• Ability to adhere to a consistent 5-day-a-week schedule.
• Demonstrated professionalism and classroom management skills.
• Previous experience as an Elementary teacher preferred.
