About the role

We are seeking a passionate Elementary Teacher to lead and support our 2nd grade classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves developing a positive learning environment, creating engaging lesson plans, and fostering social and academic growth for students.

Responsibilities

• Accept the philosophy of Cadence Education and collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive learning environment.
• Develop lesson plans that build a strong academic foundation for students.
• Provide social interaction and developmentally appropriate skill-based activities.
• Encourage and model positive social behavior and expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and academically appropriate classroom environment.
• Adhere to enhanced safety measures.
• Communicate regularly with parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers and leaders to implement an engaging, challenging, and developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Education, Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree preferred.
• Florida DCF 45-hour course completion.
• High level of flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
• Ability to adhere to a consistent 5-day-a-week schedule.
• Demonstrated professionalism and classroom management skills.
• Previous experience as an Elementary Teacher preferred.
