- Passing PRAXIS Elementary Education (Exam #5001 or #5018)
- Completion of Colorado READ Act training requirements

District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience.

Pay
- Minimum starting pay is $50,500/year
- Maximum salary is $101,999/year
- Initial pay placement depends on formal education and years of relevant experience
