About the Role
Provided leadership and instructional support to improve literacy achievement across grade levels. Collaborated with teachers to implement evidence-based reading and writing instruction, delivered targeted interventions, analyzed student performance data, and supported curriculum development to enhance student outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assessed students' literacy skills using formal and informal assessments to identify instructional needs.
- Designed and delivered targeted reading and writing interventions for individual students and small groups.
- Collaborated with classroom teachers to develop and implement evidence-based literacy instruction and differentiated learning strategies.
- Coached and mentored teachers on best practices in reading, writing, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency instruction.
- Analyzed student assessment data to monitor progress, identify learning gaps, and inform instructional decisions.
- Assisted in developing and implementing school-wide literacy initiatives aligned with curriculum standards.
- Supported the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks.
- Modeled effective instructional practices and facilitated professional development for educators.
- Collaborated with administrators, special education staff, English language learner (ELL) teachers, and families to support student literacy growth.
- Maintained accurate records of student progress and prepared reports to guide instructional planning.
- Promoted a positive, inclusive learning environment that fostered a lifelong love of reading and writing.

Pay
Competitive salary range: $48,500 – $62,500.
