Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a dynamic leader of the School’s enrichment program, overseeing outdoor supervision, after-school enrichment, and camp programming
- Plan, design, and implement enrichment and summer programs aligned with the School’s mission and values, including mini camps, bilingual summer camps, and enrichment classes in English and the target language
- Oversee extended day programming, ensuring on-site presence until 6:00 p.m. daily, or until all students have been picked up and staff have concluded their duties
- Supervise, support, and provide ongoing training to Program Instructors, ensuring consistency and quality across all programs
- Collaborate with school leadership to integrate enrichment, extended care, and summer programs with the academic program, and to ensure responsiveness to the evolving needs of the school community
- Identify and develop enrichment offerings, create and maintain the enrichment catalog, and oversee registration and withdrawal processes
- Lead parent communication related to enrichment programming, including the enrichment catalog, schedule updates, camp information, and registration details
- Serve as a visible, active, and engaged presence on campus, particularly during outdoor supervision, by proactively engaging with students, supporting positive behavior, and building strong relationships across the community
- Support the Principal in working with parents, faculty, and student groups to advance educational programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with teachers and program staff to ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication with parents and families regarding program activities, student progress, and related matters
- Assist with administrative responsibilities as directed by the Elementary School Principal and Assistant Principal
Position Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field
- Experience working in a school and with enrichment programs
- Previous leadership experience running after-school programs, enrichment, or licensed programs
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
- An administrative leadership style based on effective human relations and a capacity to work effectively in a multicultural environment, with an understanding and appreciation for diversity
- Excellent communication and listening skills
Physical Requirements of the Job:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, and to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Ability to perform physical activities, including but not limited to climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending, balancing, stooping, stretching, twisting, reaching, and working at floor level with children
- Ability to safely intervene, when necessary, to prevent injury to a child or others, consistent with School policies and applicable law
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate equipment and manipulate small objects
- Visual acuity sufficient to read, observe, and assess near and distant objects, including the ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to respond promptly to emergency or safety-related situations
- Physical stamina and mental capacity sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position in a dynamic school environment
Compensation and Benefits
- The salary range for this full-time position for the 2026-27 school year is $72,000 to $87,000, depending on experience.
- This position is categorized as an administrative staff member; we are therefore pleased to offer the following comprehensive benefits package, which includes the following:
