Elementary School Counselor

About the role

The Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a full-time Elementary School Counselor at Mark Twain Elementary for the 2026–2027 school year. This position supports the academic, social-emotional, and career development needs of all students while fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field.
• Valid Iowa School Counselor License with K–12 Professional School Counselor endorsement.
• Demonstrated successful experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
• Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), social-emotional learning, and crisis response practices preferred.
