Elementary Paraprofessional

About the role

Dover-Eyota Public Schools seeks qualified paraprofessionals to work with Preschool through 5th grade students with Special Education Services. Positions start at $16 per hour and may increase based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the special education students PreK-5
• Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction
• Collaborate with staff and support teams
• Work under the direction of the elementary principal
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students

Requirements

• Two year college education or ability to pass paraprofessional state testing shortly after hiring

• Positive in interactions with students and colleagues
• Organized and punctual
• Strong communicators with families
• Adaptable and responsive to student and classroom needs
