Elementary Paraprofessional (2026-2027)
Job Description
The Elementary Paraprofessional is responsible for providing instructional support in a classroom setting under the supervision of a licensed teacher. Duties include assisting with lesson preparation, facilitating small group instruction, monitoring student behavior, and collaborating with teachers to enhance learning outcomes.
- Assist with lesson preparation and implementation

- Monitor student behavior and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Support students in developing academic skills and social-emotional competencies
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a strong commitment to education and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred but not required. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also required.

Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with both students and teachers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with educational technology tools are also desirable.

The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
