Elementary Interventionist

Assists with the identification process for students who need additional literacy instructionProvides individual and small group instruction for identified students (Response to Intervention) using data to inform instruction and groupingsParticipates in student intervention meetingsAssist with the administration of district and state testing programsConfers with the Principal, Humanities and STEM Coordinators about the needs of students in ELA and MathActs as a resource to classroom teachers in the areas of best practicesAssists with the integration of other content areas related to literacy and math instructionSupports teachers in the implementation of standardsAssists with the development of literacy and math instructional programsFacilitates professional learning opportunities as directed by the principalParticipates in professional learning opportunities as directed by the principalAssists with the collection of data for RTI and the analysis for school improvementCompletes reports and paperwork as requiredCollaborates with other teachers within the school districtPerforms other duties and assumes other responsibilities as directed by the principalThis position is full time and grant funded
