About the role
Divine Mercy Academy is seeking a trained Montessori elementary guide to lead one of our two elementary classrooms.
Responsibilities
- Lead a classroom team while also partnering with another elementary guide, the student services team, and an assistant.
- Assess and track student knowledge progress.
- Implement the Montessori method and pedagogy.
- Develop literacy and math skills in students.
- Work closely with another elementary guide.
- Lead a classroom team while also partnering with another elementary guide, the student services team, and an assistant.
- Participate in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd training.
Requirements

- A strong understanding of the Montessori method and its formation of the child.

- Ability to effectively assess and track student knowledge progress.
- Trained in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Montessori certification at the elementary level.
- Experience working with children in a Montessori setting preferred.
