About the role

Divine Mercy Academy is seeking a trained Montessori elementary guide to lead one of our two elementary classrooms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a classroom team while also partnering with another elementary guide, the student services team, and an assistant.
  • Assess and track student knowledge progress.
  • Implement the Montessori method and pedagogy.
  • Develop literacy and math skills in students.
  • Work closely with another elementary guide.
  • Lead a classroom team while also partnering with another elementary guide, the student services team, and an assistant.
  • Participate in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd training.

  • A strong understanding of the Montessori method and its formation of the child.

  • Ability to effectively assess and track student knowledge progress.
  • Trained in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • Montessori certification at the elementary level.
  • Experience working with children in a Montessori setting preferred.
