Elementary Grades Teacher - TNT Primary School

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet Tennessee academic standards and facilitate active learning in core subjects.
• Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and track developmental milestones.
• Establish a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom culture conducive to learning.
• Provide differentiated instruction, including small-group work, to support diverse learning needs and behavioral intervention plans.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding student progress and collaborate with staff, including IEP or 504 teams.

Requirements

• Licensure: Valid Tennessee teaching certification with the appropriate elementary education endorsement (e.g., PreK-3 or K-5).
• Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• Skills: Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills

Qualifications

The role involves classroom instruction, supervision of students, and regular interaction with parents and colleagues.

Working Conditions

• Full-time positions, generally following a 10-month or school-year contract with assigned hours.
